My trip to an open bar
This Thursday Night!Friends the Rats are doing a live recording and shamelessly begging folks to come to Trash bar at 8pm sharp for their set. Open bar for 1 hour only, and it only exists to fuel your impressive volume.
AND theyre recording video and audio………its gonna be a record to be released by Nick Vivids label…vinyl! Come down and shout stuff and get wasted
No going changing into your cool-kid clothes after work unless you make it real snappy…

Oh yeah, Trash Bar is in Williamsburg at Grand near Hope.

First BTW, that Immortals game you can buy at Desert Island is kind of fun (played by flashlight, camping and tipsy). However, Marcel Duchamp is rolling in his grave over having been portrayed as a punkrock slacker playing the X-box. And Djuna Barnes is a skateboarder with a ponytail. Whaaa…I kinda don’t get it. Contemporary artists (or reincarnated awesome artists) are all skaters and gamers? Somehow that depressed me. However it is an undeniably well developed game, and it’s fun to try and make movements and eff up other peoples movements and break up couples. It’s like that Sweet Valley High board game reconceptualized as cool kids Magic the Gathering. Which maybe is like, the joke or genius? And just like any role-playing card game, you have to buy 10 more packs to actually have a competitive game. Which is, sadly, why I might just support this hombre for at least $20 more.
